Terms of Service

1. The service

AutonomousForm is operated by MacroThread Software, Tel Aviv, Israel ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and MacroThread Software.

AutonomousForm lets you build web forms and generates a pre-filled WhatsApp message from the answers. We do not send messages on your behalf or on a respondent's behalf: the respondent's own WhatsApp opens with the message prepared, and they choose whether to send it. We cannot confirm that any message was sent, delivered or read.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it. You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live, and be acting for a business or your own creative work.

You can start building a form without an account. Guest work is a convenience, not an account: it is tied only to your browser's cookie, it cannot be published, and if you clear that cookie or don't return to it for 30 days it is deleted and cannot be recovered. Creating an account keeps it, and from that point on these Terms apply to it like any other form. Creating an account starts the free period.

3. Plans, limits, and what happens when a free account ends

Both plans include the same features. A free account may keep up to 2 forms and runs for 7 days from sign-up; Premium removes both of those limits and the small AutonomousForm credit on your forms. Current limits are shown on the pricing page and may change.

When a free account's period ends, you can no longer build or edit forms. Two things deliberately do not stop: forms you already published stay online and keep collecting answers, and you keep read-only access to the leads already collected, including CSV export. We do this so an expired plan never silently costs you an enquiry or locks you out of data you have already gathered.

In this build no payment processor is connected: Premium access is granted manually and nothing charges a card. If paid billing is introduced, we will set out the terms before charging anyone.

4. Your forms and your respondents

You decide what your forms ask. You are the controller of the answers you collect, and you're responsible for having a lawful basis to collect them, for telling respondents what you will do with their information, for honouring their requests about their own data, and for complying with the privacy laws that apply to you. We store and display that information on your instructions.

If you switch on saving answers before a form is submitted, you are choosing to keep information from people who did not finish and did not press submit. Make sure that is lawful where you operate and that your own privacy notice says so. You can switch it off per form.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages, to impersonate another person or business, to collect data deceptively, or to break any law that applies to you. Don't use it to collect payment card numbers, bank credentials, passwords, government identifiers, or health information. Don't upload malicious files. We may suspend or end accounts that do.

6. Payments through Bit

A form can display a total and link to your own payment request in Bit. AutonomousForm is not a payment service: we do not process, receive, hold, transfer or refund money, and we are not a party to any payment between you and a respondent.

We do not verify that a payment happened. A screenshot attached to a form is an image a respondent chose to upload — nothing more. Do not treat it as proof of payment, and check your own Bit account before relying on it. Any dispute, chargeback, refund or failed payment is between you and your customer, and is also subject to Bit's own terms. Amounts shown by a form, including any total calculated from answers, are your figures and your responsibility.

7. Building forms with an AI assistant

The "build with AI" feature prepares a prompt for you to run in an assistant of your choosing. We do not operate that assistant, do not send it anything, and have no control over what it returns. Whatever you type into it is governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy.

Output can be wrong, biased or unsuitable. Review any form it produces before you publish it — in particular which questions are marked required and whether it asks for anything you should not be collecting. You remain responsible for the form you publish. Don't paste confidential or personal data into a third-party assistant.

8. Bookings

Where a form offers appointment times, availability is defined by you inside AutonomousForm. It is not connected to Google Calendar, Outlook or any other calendar, so it cannot know about commitments held elsewhere. We prevent two people booking the same slot through the same form, but you are responsible for honouring, confirming or rearranging any appointment.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may add, change or remove features, and may change these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, AutonomousForm is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost profits, lost business or lost goodwill, for enquiries or leads that do not arrive, for messages a respondent did not send, or for payments that were not made, were disputed or were reversed. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Your responsibility to us

If a claim is brought against us because of the forms you published, the data you collected, the way you used the answers, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of defending it.

12. Ending the agreement

You may delete your forms and stop using the service at any time, and you can ask us to remove your account and its data. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken.

13. Trademarks

WhatsApp and Bit are trademarks of their respective owners. AutonomousForm is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to WhatsApp, Meta, Bit, or any bank or payment provider.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
